To encourage growth and excellence, SIA hosts a multitude of professional development events throughout the academic year. Events include guest lectures, alumni panels, roadshows, and exclusive networking opportunities providing key insights into financial markets and preparing members for success in the industry.

To develop members’ skill sets, SIA presents weekly educational seminars designed to teach core behavioral and technical concepts. Each concept is pertinent to all careers in the financial services industry. Please see below for this year's academic schedule.
Who We Are

The Student Investment Association is a premier undergraduate organization tailored for students interested in pursuing a career in financial services. Membership is welcome to any undergraduate student at Michigan State University.
The goal of SIA is to provide undergraduate students with the technical and analytical tools necessary to win competitive positions in the industry. The association does this by providing valuable resources to all members, from networking mixers to professional roadshows. Being a member of SIA also allows for the opportunity to apply for the Green and White Fund (GWF), a highly selective investment fund managed by undergraduate students at Michigan State. In the process, SIA looks to empower all members, contributing to each one reaching their utmost potential.
